UYBA 3x3 Basketball Tournament Concludes in Noida with 150+ Teams and 800+ Players from Across India

Noida: The UYBA 3x3 Basketball Tournament concluded today at the Noida Indoor Stadium after two days of intense competition on August 8 and 9, 2026, bringing together more than 800 young basketball players and over 1,200 people, including players, coaches and family members, from across India.

Organised by the Ulhas YuviPep Basketball Academy (UYBA) under the leadership of UYBA President Mr. Ulhas KS, the tournament witnessed participation from 150+ teams representing 20 different states across India. More than 200 matches were played across the two-day tournament, creating a high-energy competitive platform for young basketball players from across the country.

The tournament featured four age categories-U10, U12, U14 and U19-with competitions for both boys and girls in every category. Teams from schools and basketball academies participated, giving young athletes an opportunity to compete against players from different regions and gain valuable competitive experience.

Teams travelled to Noida from across India, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand, among other states. Major Deepak Yadav Ji, Director, Sports Authority of India, attended the UYBA 3x3 Basketball Tournament as the Chief Guest on August 9, 2026.

He witnessed the tournament and experienced the scale and magnitude of the event, which brought together more than 800 players and over 1,200 participants, coaches and family members from 20 states across India.

Major Deepak Yadav Ji also acknowledged the efforts of UYBA President Mr. Ulhas KS in creating and organising a tournament of such scale, providing young basketball players with a competitive platform and contributing towards the growth of grassroots basketball in India.

The tournament received strong support from leading sports partners..

Nivia supported the event by providing basketball shoes, basketballs and bags for the participants. UYBA provided official tournament jerseys, trophies and medals, while a total prize pool of ₹2 lakh was distributed across all eight categories.

Sports Soul, the arena partner for the tournament, played a key role in making the event possible, providing the infrastructure and support required to host a tournament of this scale. UYBA also acknowledged Sports Soul's continued contribution towards the growth of basketball and its efforts to provide athletes with the right infrastructure and playing environment.

The final day witnessed intense competition across all categories, with young players displaying their skills, teamwork and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
