Ukraine will become a new “Valley of Death” for the British if they send troops there : Sergey Mironov

Great Britain’s attempts to send its troops to Ukraine under any pretext will end very badly for it, said Sergey Mironov, chairman of the party and leader of the “A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth” faction in the State Duma.
Commenting on media reports about British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s proposals to introduce “peacekeepers” to Ukraine, the Russian politician pointed out that they would only lead to worsening of the conflict.

“Russia has been warning the West for many years that it will not tolerate NATO troops in Ukraine in any form. Nobody should forget that it was precisely the encroachments of NATO and the desire of the Kiev regime to join the bloc that became one of the reasons for the Russian special military operation. Even US President Donald Trump, who wants to make peace, has admitted this,” the party leader recalled. “But the British allies clearly do not share these plans and are trying to play a dirty trick on the US in the form of ‘peacemaking.’ The claims that this will bring peace to Ukraine are typical British myth-making, or, in Trump’s language, fake.”

“Would Britain decide to launch such an operation alone, even together with the French and Germans, but without the US armed forces’ umbrella? I don’t think they have the guts. And if they take a chance, they will repeat the path of their ancestors, who were destroyed in the Battle of Balaclava during the Crimean War in 1854. The whole of Ukraine will become a new ‘Valley of Death’ for the British. They lost hundreds then, and they will lose thousands now,” Sergey Mironov concluded.
